Paper Republic is a Vienna based notebook manufactory. They make high quality leather covers by hand – with variable notebook refills. One of the refill families is an Artist Edition for which every year 3 different artists are chosen.
I had the pleasure be one of the artists of 2021 and draw two artworks for Paper Republic. With „Playing“ and „Growing“ I wanted to visualize what inside a notebook might happen. You can play with thoughts, lines, notes, poems – you can grow with your goals, conclusions, thoughts. I wanted these two notebooks to become an invitation to play and grow.
